What is GROUND?
GROUND is one of our most popular programs, and it’s what we often recommend those new to HUSO try first if they don’t know where to start. GROUND provides a series of low, earthy tones, which bring the mind and body from a place of chaos or instability to a more centered, connected, and confident state.
What does it mean to be grounded?
When we are grounded, we are sure of ourselves and our journeys, and we feel a strong sense of connection to the earth. When we are grounded, we are able to be truly present and make clear, confident choices that respect our boundaries while also serving our purpose.
If you are highly sensitive or consider yourself an empath, staying grounded can be especially challenging, as you easily take on the emotional energy of others. This makes you a beautiful friend and compassionate individual, but you may feel as though you lose yourself in the process of it all. For example, you may find yourself saying “yes” to every single invitation to show love for your friends, even though you desperately need time to yourself to rest and recharge. Finding a way to get grounded again can help you more confidently decline invitations that may not serve you best.
What are some signs that GROUND is a good program for me?
If you are feeling any of the following, you might try running on GROUND during your HUSO sessions:
- You’re grappling with conflicting emotions about a person or situation. GROUND can help bring you back to your place of confidence to better understand and process those emotions.
- You feel like you’re being pulled in a lot of different directions. Taking 30 minutes every day or two to run on GROUND can restore a sense of peace and connection.
- You feel like you’re “sweating the small stuff” more than usual. When you’re not feeling grounded, little upsets and inconveniences can feel like they’re really taking a toll. By helping you regain a sense of mindfulness, presence, and confidence, GROUND can reduce the effect that small snafus have on your emotional state.
- You feel “dis-associated”, anxious, or as if your energy is fragmented and flying around everywhere but where it should be: grounded and centered in your body. The low frequency harmonics in GROUND allow you to come back to center, calming and stabilizing body, mind and spirit.
When is the best time to use HUSO with the GROUND program?
One thing we love about GROUND is that it’s a great program to use morning, noon, or night! While the sense of peace you gain from feeling better grounded can help you sleep better, running on GROUND will not diminish your ability to focus and perform during the day—in fact, you’re likely to notice these parts of your life improve too!
How often should I use GROUND?
It’s perfectly fine to run HUSO on GROUND every day. Within a few sessions, you should notice just how much better you feel. That said, if you only have time to do 3 or 4 GROUND sessions per week, you’ll still reap great rewards
